Betting On Goldfish Races Online

from the _go-goldfish-go_ dept
Wed, Feb 7th 2001 02:12am - Mike Masnick
Not much to say about this one other than some folks have apparently been thinking _way_ too hard about ways to entertain people online. The latest experiment in online gambling is apparently betting on goldfish races. Some UK company is going to put six goldfish in a bowl and race them. Of course, the winner is going to be whichever fish happens to wander under a bridge at the bottom of the tank.

Haha, such a good activity and money-spending. It is not betting already, it is a kind of gambling, you know)
Wait, wait, wait, 2001 year, how did I get there? Is there internet at that time? I was 4 years old and somebody is already bet on goldfish racing, wow!
